Abhay Sinha, President of the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA), was felicitated at the Closing Ceremony of the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
The honour was presented by Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Shri L. Murugan, in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa Shri Pramod Sawant and I&B Secretary Shri Sanjay Jaju.
He was recognised for his contribution to the Indian film industry and his continued efforts in strengthening the representation of film producers at national and international platforms.
The ceremony was attended by eminent film personalities including Ramesh Sippy, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kiran Shantaram, with the legendary Thalaiva Rajinikanth gracing the occasion.
