Director-Choreographer Ahmed Khan reminisces about his shooting days with Aamir Khan, says, “He wanted to perfect the dance steps as well
Director-choreographer Ahmed Khan has shared a longstanding relationship with several renowned celebrities in Bollywood. With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Khan has choreographed some of the most unforgettable songs and iconic hook steps in Hindi cinema. He has also collaborated with all three Khans of Bollywood and had previously spoken about working with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Now, Khan looks back on his shooting days with Aamir Khan for films like Rangeela, Ghajini, and more.
He said, “Working with all the Khans was an experience of a lifetime. It felt like growing up with them while working alongside them professionally. I worked with Aamir in Rangeela, which was his first time attempting dance moves. Later, when we worked together on Ghajini for the song “Behka Mein Behka”, what stood out was his dedication, he always wanted to perfect every dance step, regardles how compilcated it was.”
Ahmed Khan has choreographed tracks for successful films like Rangeela, Kick, Ghajini, Nayak: The Real Hero, Heropanti, and many more. Recently, the director revealed how the tragic Pahalgam attacks affected the final marathon schedule of the highly anticipated entertainer Welcome to the Jungle. Filming for the movie is expected to resume soon.
