Ankush Chaudhari Celebrates Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din with Special Screening of “Chhaava”
Dadar, Mumbai – February 27, 2025 –
On the auspicious occasion of Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din, Marathi superstar Ankush Chaudhari hosted a special screening of the highly acclaimed film Chhaava for a packed house of over 200 attendees. The event, held to honor the legacy of the valiant Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, aimed to reinforce Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage.
The screening, attended by senior citizens, school and college students, and Ankush Chaudhari’s batchmates, provided a memorable experience for all. The event was further enriched by the presence of key members of the “Chhaava” team, including performers Ashish Pathode (Antaji) and Shubhankar Ekbote (Dhanaji), as well as crew members Omkar Mahajan and Unman Bankar (Screenplay writers), Bhargav Shelar (Shivgarjana Pratishthan, sword fight trainer), Balakrushna Patil (Art Director), and Shrikant Desai (Makeup Designer).
Ankush Chaudhari emphasized the importance of preserving and passing on Maharashtra’s glorious history to future generations. He also highlighted the event as a gesture to encourage and support Marathi talent, recognising the remarkable performances and contributions of those involved in Chhaava. The screening served as a powerful reminder of the pride and cultural wealth embodied in the Marathi language and its historical narratives.
