“I feel like we are shooting a maha episode every day,” Kanwar laughs. “Managing an hour-long daily episode is not easy — the pace is intense, but the energy on set keeps us going. Despite the long hours, it’s satisfying to see the show doing so well in TRPs.” He also expressed gratitude toward his co-stars and crew, saying the collaborative spirit on set makes the demanding schedule manageable.
Reflecting on his journey, Kanwar revealed how fate played a role in landing this project. “I was replaced in another show just before this one. The actor emphasized that rejection is part of the industry, and trusting the process has been a key lesson for him.
Known for his candid personality, Kanwar also shared a lighter side. “I gossip every day! I’m like the Kareena Kapoor of TV,” he chuckles. “It’s all in good spirit — being aware of industry chatter is part of the game.”
Looking ahead, Kanwar spoke about his career ambitions. “Working with Ekta Kapoor is still on my wishlist. She has been the queen of Indian television, and collaborating with her would be a dream come true,” he said, highlighting his admiration for stalwarts of the industry.
Kanwar also shared his thoughts on luck and perseverance: “Luck has two sides — when things go well, people call you lucky, and when they don’t, they call you unlucky. The important part is to stay grounded and keep working hard.”
With his dedication, relatability, and growing popularity, Kanwar Dhillon is not only making a mark in Udne Ki Aasha but is also setting the stage for bigger opportunities in television and beyond.
