Kalki 2898 AD Makers join hands with ZEE Studios for “CHAMPION” – A Grand Period Sports Drama directed by National Award Winner Pradeep Advaitham, releasing 25th December, 2025
After the massive success of Kalki 2898 AD, the makers have now teamed up with ZEE Studios to present Champion — a stirring period sports drama helmed by National Award-winning filmmaker Pradeep Advaitham. Produced by Swapna Cinemas (a division of Vyjayanthi Movies) in association with Anandi Art Creations and Concept Films, this ambitious venture stars Roshann in the lead, with Anaswara Rajan as the female lead.
Set in pre-Independence India, Champion chronicles the inspiring journey of Michael C. Williams, er whose life revolves around his deep-rooted love for football. The film follows his triumphs, struggles, and unyielding spirit as he battles societal barriers and personal odds in his pursuit of glory — both on and off the field.
