Team Ikkis pays tribute to India’s bravehearts at the National War Memorial in Delhi

The team of Ikkis visited the National War Memorial to pay their respects to the martyrs who defined the true meaning of valour and sacrifice. In a moment marked by silence and reflection, actors Agastya Nanda, Simar Bhatia and Jaideep Ahlawat bowed their heads in honour of the fallen soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation.

The visit held special significance as Ikkis brings to the screen the inspiring story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, one of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardees. Standing at the memorial, the team acknowledged not just his extraordinary courage, but the countless soldiers who gave their tomorrow so that the country could have its today.

With Ikkis, the makers aim to honour that legacy and bring a powerful story of courage, duty and sacrifice to audiences across the country. Directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the film is all set to release this Christmas.
