As Windows Productions completes 25 glorious years in the film industry, the banner marks the milestone by announcing an ambitious and creatively rich slate that signals an exciting new phase in its journey. Led by the celebrated producer-director duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Windows continues to stand tall as one of the most influential and audience-loved production houses in contemporary Bengali cinema.
Among the key announcements is Phool Pishi O Edward, a mystery drama that promises an emotionally layered narrative infused with suspense. Featuring a formidable ensemble cast including Sohini Sengupta, Arjun Chakraborty, Anamika Saha, Raima Sen, Saheb Chattopadhyay, Rajatava Dutta, Ananya Chatterjee, Koneenica Banerjee, Shyamoupti Mudly, Rishav Basu, and Soumya Mukherjee, the film is positioned as a character-driven story that reflects Windows’ hallmark storytelling sensibility.

Following the phenomenal success of Bohurupi, which emerged as both a box-office juggernaut and a cultural phenomenon, the makers have officially unveiled the next chapter of the franchise, co-produced by Sanjay Agarwal. Currently in the scripting stage, the sequel is being developed with a bigger vision and deeper narrative layers, driven by overwhelming audience demand.
On the franchise’s return, the duo said, “Bohurupi has been our biggest franchise, and its return is entirely audience-driven. As we celebrate 25 years, revisiting this world feels incredibly special. We are carefully shaping the script and are excited to explore the universe with greater scale and ambition.”
Rounding off the slate is Bhanupriya Bhooter Hotel which is releasing on 23rd January, 2026, the much-anticipated foray into the horror-comedy genre.
