Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has witnessed a phenomenal year of success with a string of celebrated releases. At a recent conclave, Vijan, accompanied by actress Shraddha Kapoor, spoke about the power of Indian cinema to showcase the country’s diverse culture and boost tourism on an international scale.
Addressing the audience, Dinesh said, “I think, for example, Chanderi sarees have gotten quite popular after Stree. After Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Indore is better known. So I feel as Indians, we are trying to make films across India; it has the potential of putting our culture on the global map. If you look at the West, there are so many times when America is saving the day, so I want to do films this year in which Indians save the world, and it will be a lot more fun for us.”
