Aaman Devgan spent over 10 days as an intensive preparation with Azaad the horse for his upcoming action adventure Azaad
Actor Aaman Devgan is all set to make his big Bollywood debut with Abhishekh Kapoor’s action adventure Azaad. The young actor has received appreciation for his promising portrayal of a village lad post the trailer launch of the movie and netizens are excited to see his performance in this action adventure releasing in theatres on 17th January. The movie revolves around the adorable bond between Aaman and the horse and how the latter becomes his most loyal companion through the highs and lows in life.
Aaman had undergone intensive training for his character and to build a formidable bond with the horse which also includes horse riding as well. Starting from spending quality time to eating with him and even sleeping with him in his stable and also cleaning Azaad’s stool himself. Aaman has done it all and has spent over 100 hours with Azaad His strong and heartwarming bond with Azaad was also evident at the trailer launch event of the movie where the actor was seen giving a cute peck to Azaad. Aaman has additionally also spent days with Azaad post the completion of the shoot and shares an endearing bond with him
Opening up about his training session with Azaad, Aaman said,” I’m extremely fond of horses and when I heard the script of the movie I knew in my heart I had to do it. I decided to devote my time understanding Azaad, his moods and his routine and body language to ensure that it looks absolutely real onscreen. I ensured before our shoot started I spent time with Azaad, had my meals with him and even slept in his stable and spent over 10 days with him throughout my shoot schedule. I have even cleaned his stool myself to ensure that he is comfortable in my presence and build the foundation of trust. It was an enriching experience for me and I learnt so much about horses. Apart from horse riding, spending time with Azaad has actually made me do my scenes effortlessly.”
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, Azaad promises to be an emotional tale about the unbreakable bond between humans and animals. The film explores a powerful journey of love, loyalty, and courage and is set to hit cinemas on 17th January 2025
