The Storyline starts with Pritam and music band showcasing the love stories of 4 Couples from 4 metros has a story of love life making a way .
Pankaj Tripathi being the husband of Konkana Sen Sharma are happily married with a daughter .
Other side the story kicks off with Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Sheikh showcasing the love story where 2 couples made a way from Delhi and Mumbai to Bangalore to live a happy life but later they feel that they need to focus on their career which makes them apart as Ali to Mumbai to persue his music career and Fatima as a journalist to Delhi by keeping terms in love .
On Third side , Aditya and Sara catch up unintentionally in an outing/ office yearly meet at Bengalore while partying they figure out that Sara bymistakely reach to wrong address being drunk which is Aditya Stays and from there the story kicks off,however both belong to same city /Current City – Delhi.
Fourth being the old age love story of Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta get along in a college reunion over a play act.
Later the story kick off with 4 Couples personal life and how they make the relationship work in today’s generation.
The storyline deliver a strong message to this era that neither of the relationship/married life are perfect there are alot ups downs in every bonding but how the 4 couple starcast manages that what have been depicted across the movie.
In second half , everyone tries to skip daily routine and manages to go beyond their partners and seek for happiness with old or new partners but later they all realise that it’s the existing one with whom they can live happily .
Pritam’s music gives a boost to every story portrayed inside the movie with a meaningful song which states the Love ballad of lifeline.
Metro In Dino ends with a perfect storyline where every couple gets their existing or desired partner and that’s what is ” Metro In Dino – Love In Dino”.
